La mayoría de novelas que tengo en inglés son con gatos o de gatos. Tengo algunas pendientes de leer sobre otros temas que siempre voy dejando en favor de las gatunas y que ya he decidido abordar el próximo año. A pesar de ello, me apetecía comprar algo nuevo que sé me va a ayudar a ir leyendo las que ya tengo abandonadas desde hace años.
Pensé que en la tienda de segunda mano Re-read podría encontrar algo y fui el jueves.
Tenía claro que quería una novela de un autor inglés de Reino Unido porque el inglés americano tiene palabras propias que desconozco y, por experiencia, me cuesta entender, incluso con el contexto.
Me decidí por High fidelity, de Nick Hornby. Ya había leído una novela de este autor traducida a español y me gustó su estilo. Dejo abajo el enlace a El estado de la unión.

La verdad es que tengo ganas de ponerme con él, aunque tendré que esperar a enero del próximo año ya que este mes de diciembre ya estoy con otro libro con gatos titulado Snowed in at the cat café que comenté hace unos días.
